Safe Sex Toy Disposal

Thought this would be a good time to repost this as more people may be spending a little more time with "themselves" and perhaps burning through some toys. 😊

In random conversations, the subject of getting rid of old, broken, damaged toys came up.
This led me to do some research because a few years ago I had heard about a company that did a "Recycle your Rabbit" Day.

Lo and behold, I came across this site:
Sex Toy Recycling.

The Sex Toy Recycling process works like this: You send your unwanted sex toy to STR (email them and they'll send you a Tyvek pouch).
But don't be a nasty skank, wash it before you send it to them please.
They then sterilize and process it. Plastics, metals and batteries are recycled as needed for non-toy purposes.

The STR website says: "We then use a patent-pending process similar to that used to recycle athletic shoes into rubber surfaces for basketball courts. The rubber and silicone is ground up, mixed with a binding agent, and remolded into new toys. For sanitary and safety reasons, each toy is then coated with a layer of new silicone. The result is a sex toy made of at least 95% post-consumer materials."

Your old faithful can live a new life and come again and again!

Til next time!

Back and ready...

Maybe it's because I have seen so many people afraid to ask
Because of judgement
Because of feelings of fear and self worth
Whatever
I feel this blog must be opened back up,a safe space of learning and education.
A free space to explore.
A space to not feel like a freak or outsider.
I don't know exactly, but ask, learn and be sure you will never be judged.
I will get you the best information possible as I know it or from those I know are experts of kink.
Oh there will be silly and fun too.

Til next time!

Oddities in the Stores of Self-Pleasure

I'm all for getting yourself off, we know this.
There's nothing like a little self-love time.
However, there are a few devices that make me go Hmmm?
And to each their own, whatever turns you on.
I've seen the foot that you can fuck like a flesh light.
So, fee are your thing, but nothing like walking into a scene of the walking dead, the room splattered with spooge rather than blood.
But hear me out.

I mean, I completely get what they were going for here, but I also can't help but think this is how a serial killer story could begin.
It was innocent enough to begin with. Him, his fuck head.
But then...he began fantasizing about a real woman; the one who never noticed he existed.
Or you could go with the promiscuous woman scenario.
The next thing you know, he's dancing around his room to Q Lazzarus like Buffalo Bill with a head hanging from his crotch.
See how I go off on a tangent when I see her.

I get it. It's the affordable version of a love doll. However, I can't help that it gives new meaning to the word skull fuck.
Maybe it's the lifelike hair that imagine flailing around while you are doing the deed to her severed head?
There is another version without the hair.
She doesn't look quite real, so she's not as intimidating to me as Felicity.
Then there is Seduce Me Scarlet 3D Love Doll With Head <- with head.
Want to know why there is emphasis on with head?
Cuz it would be just plain creepy having the torso with no head.

Granted, these are incredibly cheaper than buying the complete love dolls, but imagine going to your new guy's home and having a head fall out from a closet on you. Looking back up to you with dead eyes, hair probably all tangled...
Just the head, for a guy who loves head.

In all honesty, I like that there are alternatives for guys besides the blow up dolls of the past, but the more realistic these ladies get, it's also odd to have just a body part or two lying around the carpet.

Do guys feel like they've entered Lorena Bobbit's when they see a life like cock and balls in the bed?

I hope you find the humor in this post.
It's also given me fresh fodder for a twisted novel idea.
Enjoy the head!

My mission

I found that I often get asked in blog interviews or just through messages what it is that I hope to convey in my writing to my readers. Now granted, we know I write erotic romance. Many people would wonder if there is even a story line much less a message in those novels.  Well, I'm here to tell you that there is, at least in my books.

It's taken me almost three years to come up with an answer that I think rings true, and here it is:

I find that I take people's issues, that can be yours or mine, propelling the reader on a journey of self-exploration and perhaps healing. I have a gola to hopefully make people consider other thought patterns about live, love, sexuality. I would love to tear down the shame and guilt that many feel for their desired life. I believe if it's not hurting anyone else, and both people consent, what is done between those people in love is not wrong and they should not feel shame for their acts with each other.

No Shame, Love Yourself, Even the Parts You Hide - But Shouldn't Have To

I have been thinking a ton about self-love.
No, I'm not talking about masturbation, but I'm the first one to say YES! to it.
I'm talking about being in love with our own self and being perfectly happy about what you enjoy.
And even being proud of who we are, all of it.

It's a shame that sexuality, sex, and kink have become this thing that we are supposed to be ashamed about enjoying. We're deemed deviants, perverts, and other names that have a usually negative connotation about them. Certain acts are STILL considered taboo.
Why?
Can you tell me how wanting to dress up as Sasquatch with a pink dildo hooked to your head while your partner throws pies at you makes you a bad person?
Why is a woman who embraces her sexuality, and love of sex, considered a slut?

I guarantee you I've met people who may enjoy being pegged, have a poly relationship, or enjoy having every hole filled by human or inanimate object who are wonderful, giving, altruistic people and lead totally normal lives to the outside world.

Now, if your boss found out that you liked to wear a fox tail, paws, and furry mask while being plowed thoroughly by your guy while he's dressed as hunter, they would have a completely different view of you. How does what you do in your bedroom, or dungeon, affect your work, especially if they considered you a stellar employee before they found out?

Want to put your guy in a cock cage for three days? If he's down, hell yes, do it.
Want to roll around in a kiddie pool full of jello? Have fun!
Why if some find out a woman enjoys giving up control in the bedroom, being tied, up or dominated are told they should get their Feminism card vetoed?

Think about it. Some acts have been around since Roman times, yet somehow, STILL are not accepted as okay.

I'm a proud kinkster.
It's part of the reason that I decided to write erotica and share on this blog.
There is nothing wrong with enjoying sex, kink, BDSM, sploshing, dressing up in furry costumes, whatever!
The openness and trust between partners to be able to voice their wants and desires is simply beautiful. There is more intimacy in confiding in your partner that you like butt stuff and know they will not judge you than just throwing on some name brand lingerie and hinting at wanting sex.
(Which I love lingerie too.)
Hell, if you told your guy you want to try and are turned on by butt stuff, he'll probably do back flips!

It saddens me that in this day and age, people have to hide and be ashamed of their desires and enjoyments for fear of losing jobs, family, and friends...or be considered immoral just because they want to try some different things in the bedroom.
How did the free love, everything goes attitude end so abruptly?
I know. I know. Technically, we don't have to go into the history and socio-economic papers and studies. It's a rhetorical question.

I'm here to tell you to embrace it. If you are going to love all of yourself, love your pervy, kink, sexual side too. It's part of you.
If you read or see something that intrigues you, don't be afraid to show your partner.
Experiment. Watch videos.
If it's between you and your partner, you agree on it, it's consensual and safe,
GO FOR IT.

Get to know your cooch.

#3 Concerns me...
Just like your face, your vulva wrinkles with age.
Am I going to have to botox my vag?
Even worse, they say the clit could decrease in size.
Oh please, sex gods!! Don't let my clit disappear!

I like #7...
Use it or lose it.
Exercise the bitch.
The plus?
Besides just keeping the muscles working and avoiding prolapsing walls and more, the more you have sex, the more you will want it, and are less likely to have slumps of nothing.
Just another reason why sex is a.o.k. and healthy!

An orgasm a day (or more) keeps the blues away!
Keeping Cuntzilla happy means a happier you too.

But on a serious note, how many of you have taken the time to get to know your Vag?
I'm not talking about letting your fingers do the walking or the friendly buzz of a vibe.

You've seen it done on shows, whether it's done comedically or seriously.
Feminist, sex activist and educator, Annie Sprinkle even has put hers up for display live in the past, allowing audiences to get up close and personal with a speculum and lights to see what lies within.
And shouldn't we, as women know more about our bodies?
Take a mirror, sit down, spread em, and get to know your vagina.
Here's a rough map of the great divide to guide you along.

Don't be ashamed of your pussy.
Treat her like your best friend.
Love her.
And who knew?
Besides vagazelling, you can gloss her up too!

Orgasms and Vibrators, a little history lesson.

A long time ago, in a century far away, women were believed to not have sex drive.
It was unheard of then for women to actually crave sex.
So when women of the Victorian Era would go to their doctor complaining of irritability, restlessness,  strange kinky daydreams, weird heavy feelings in their lower abdomen, and wetness between their legs, those smart medical gents dubbed these women afflicted with "hysteria."  (This comes from the Greek word for uterus.)

But ironically, women's sexual pleasure was the furthest thing from the minds of the male doctors who invented vibrators almost two centuries ago. They were interested in a labor-saving device to spare their hands the fatigue they developed giving handjobs to a steady stream of 19th century ladies who suffered from “hysteria,” a vaguely defined ailment easily recognizable today as sexual frustration.

So it seems that massages with happy endings are a long standing tonic for all sorts of ailments.
Thus Dr. J. Mortimer Granville invented a machine to save all of these weary doctors some time from patients v-jays everyday and probably their fingers and wrists from cramping.
However, the first medical vibrators were HUGE and could only be used in the office itself.
They were such a huge hit with the Victorian sexually frustrated ladies that they began to demand versions for their homes.

Now, I want to point out that phallic forms and devices were used long before this period, and encouraged to be used to relieve the tensions women had. However, the Victorian era was so straight-laced that any form of sexual self stimulation was deemed immoral.
I can only imagine that's why women went to their physicians because then it could not seem like a perverted proclivity, but an actual medical ailment.
It's just funny that some of the massage techniques employed by the doctors and nurses included oiling up their fingers to penetrate the ladies lovely vaginas while massaging their clitoral region with their hand. Luckily, the new vibrating hysteria machines were recognized as medicine for these ladies (married, widowed, single) who could not get their groove on with anyone else.
As vibration machines entered more houses, they became known for other uses as not to upset the delicate moral values of the time. I mean, we still see the ads for 'neck massagers.' My violet wand is advertised for better skin, reducing wrinkles even today!

So thank you Dr. J. Mortimer Granville for you spicy invention.
You bring so many of us relief, joy, reduced stress and better sleep!
The variety is endless.
Happy first day of Masturbation Month!
